Campus clubs at WWU provide students, 教师, and staff to connect based on their interests. This FAQ answers common questions people have about campus clubs at WWU. If you do not see information you are looking for about clubs on campus, please contact the student life manager at clubs@hername.net. 

What is the purpose of clubs?

Campus clubs provide opportunities for students, 教师, and staff with similar interests to connect. 

谁经营俱乐部?

俱乐部 and their activities are run by students and sponsored by a 教师 and/or staff member. 的 office of 学生生活 oversees the approval of new clubs and club events. 联系 the 学生生活 俱乐部 Manager, at clubs@hername.net for more information about campus clubs.

学生 are a part of the following clubs based on their residence:

  • 阿莱夫·吉梅尔·艾因 (students living in the women's residence halls)
  • Omicrom Pi Sigma (students living in the men's residence halls)
  • 乡村俱乐部 (undergraduate students who live in campus-owned or off-campus housing and are enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits)

1. 去 17世纪.hername.net and log in using your WWU username and password.
2. Select 学生生活.
3. Select 我的俱乐部.
4. Select 加入一个俱乐部.
5. Browse the listing of campus clubs and select individual clubs for more information on club activities and officers.
6. Become a club member by selecting 加入 on a club's individual page. Dues will be automatically applied to your WWU account each quarter.

学生 can charge a maximum of two (2) clubs to their account at any given time. If they want to be a member of more than two clubs, they will need to pay the extra club dues out of pocket to the accounting department."

学生 are automatically a part of residents clubs. 的se clubs do not count against the two (2) club maximum:

What is the Welcome Back Bash?

的 Welcome Back Bash is an annual event for clubs to showcase their purpose and activities. At the Welcome Back Bash students, 教师, and staff can get to know club officers and sponsors and learn more about events put on by different clubs. 学生 can sign up for clubs at the Welcome Back Bash as well as on myWWU.

  1. 联系 学生生活 俱乐部 Manager (clubs@hername.net)和你关于俱乐部的想法.
  2. Draft a constitution and bylaws for your club and find a club sponsor (WWU 教师 or staff member).
  3. Submit your constitution, bylaws, and 学生社团申请 to the 学生生活 俱乐部 Manager.
  4. 等待俱乐部批准.
  5. 打印并填写 Club Signature Authorization Sheet 授权俱乐部收费.
  6. Run a club table at the Welcome Back Bash.
  7. Recruit members to sign up at myWWU.

How do I drop my membership from a club? 

联系 your club's president, sponsor, or another club officer to drop your membership from a club. If you are unable to contact any club leadership, contact the 学生生活 俱乐部 Manager at clubs@hername.net 丢掉一根棍棒.

How do I learn about my club's upcoming events?

联系 your clubs' officers or sponsor to find out about upcoming club events. Club officers and sponsors can be found on myWWU.

请参阅 City of College Place Special 事件 Application page to determine if you will need to apply for a permit in order to hold your event. Applications for permits must be filed at least thirty (30) days in advance of the proposed event.
